About Me

My name is Andre Magaro. I am a play-by-play broadcaster based in the DMV area. I currently serve as the Broadcasting and Creative Media Manager for the Chesapeake Baysox - Double-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. I have been a member of the Baysox broadcast team since the 2023 season, serving as a play-by-play broadcaster, in addition to serving as a host for pregame and postgame shows, along with our weekly in-season podcast - Baysox Weekly. I also help oversee visual content with the Baysox, serving as a lead graphic designer, helping develop the new visual identity associated with the recently rebranded Chesapeake Baysox. I also contribute to video content as an editor, creator of motion graphics, and on-camera host. Additionally, I help oversee media relations with the team.

Outside of my experience as an MiLB broadcaster and creative, I have multiple years of experience broadcasting various sports at the Division I collegiate level. I broadcast on a freelance basis for high school/college athletics, along with junior hockey, in the DMV area.
